Separate consumer chats fracture conversations, evidence, budgets, and policy. Building a safe internal gateway from scratch demands provider integrations, credential handling, retrieval, cancellation, audit metadata, and operating controls before a team can ask its first useful question.
Hoplon makes governance part of the interaction rather than a separate policy binder. Administrators set approved providers, privacy treatment, role access, budgets, and Project membership; teams keep one consistent place to work.
Provider, model, role, budget, PII, and source rules are applied before work leaves the gateway.
Approved models answer against the same fixed evidence packet with visible attribution.
Private sources, instructions, cited answers, Briefs, and saved insights stay together.
Company-owned provider keys are verified, encrypted, isolated, and never returned as plaintext.
A Next.js Worker serves the workspace. A private Service Binding reaches a separate Hono gateway Worker; D1 separates application and gateway data; Durable Objects support cancellation; R2, Queues, Workers AI, and Vectorize power Project ingestion and retrieval. Hoplon uses a custom gateway on Workers—it does not currently use Cloudflare AI Gateway.
Hoplon is not generally available. Capacity is company-owned, onboarding is guided, and the product is validating how early teams use the controls before self-service or managed model capacity expands.
